With the final supermoon of the year due to rise, I spent a few nights in the Superstition Wilderness, exploring along the ridge above La Barge Canyon.  I also dropped down to cross La Barge creek, which was flowing nicely and through the pass to Boulder Creek. I spent a very nice night along the creek there near the Calvary Trail. I didn’t see any people for almost three days and it was an excellent chance to shoot some photos, meditate and enjoy the desert.
