Chiricahua National Monument

Toured the Chiricahua National Monument today – located in the Chiricahua Mountains. The cool balancing rock formations are called Hoodoos and they are everywhere.

Today Conor and I backpacked to Barfoot Lookout in the Chircahua Mountains in southeast Arizona. Elevation was just under 8500 feet. Incredible views! Got hit with a massive lightning storm at night which was scary and fantastic – luckily the gear held up well and we stayed dry and comfortable.
