Capitol Reef National Park

Capitol Reef National Park is located in southern Utah, USA. The primary geological feature of the park is the “Waterpocket Fold”, a giant warp or wrinkle in the earth’s crust, more than 65 million years old. Layers of golden Navajo sandstone, canyons and striking rock formations populate the desert expanse of the park.
