Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park is located near Yarnell, Arizona. It was created to memorialize the nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who died there on June 30, 2013. Not only is this seven mile loop expertly made from a trail construction standpoint, it’s an incredibly powerful and moving experience and a beautiful memorial to this terrible tragedy.
